Running on Faith- Bullfighter Frank Newsom

Frank Newsom is one of the greatest bullfighters in PBR history and has fought at multiple World Finals. He nearly lost everything in his life when he became addicted to methamphetamies. Newsom was able to overcome his addiction after a long battle with the help of his faith, family, and friends.

- I've come to realize that it sometimes takes jail time, the subtraction of obligations opportunities, or loss of relationships for one to completely understand that their life or career is in shambles. And the process of putting your life back together after its been in a bad place can be the hardest part. Putting away old habits/ addictions, mending relationships that have been broken, or rebuilding a foundation of knowing yourself are areas that can be most difficult. No one ever wants anyone to come to the point in their life where they have 'hit rock bottom,' but sometimes it's what it takes for one to realize their current position and the risk it holds.

I encourage you to read frank Newsom's journey from addictions to glory. Running on Faith

I am Second with Trevor Brazile

A Cowboy, a real Professional Rodeo Cowboy!

Trevor Brazile is a champion who's been called the world's best cowboy. He's expected to show up. When he shows up, he's expected to win, all the time. When he does, the crowd loves him. Don't we have that mentality with God? When we win, we love God. When we don't win, we question Him.

Early in Trevor's career, he knew he may not always make the number one spot. And in uncertain times, he still chose to live for God. "I don't serve God because of success," he says. " Whether I win or lose, God just wants us to love Him." -Trevor Brazile

It is important to reflect on what we have accomplished in order for ourselves to evaluate the use of our talents. We should use the talents that God has given us to reach people. This makes it easier for us to know that God is on our side. Where we are weak, He is strong. God loves us so much that He just wants us to have a personal relationship with Him. He looks for this relationship daily, I love you, and a thankful heart. That's why we were put here for, for His purpose, and His will. Don't server God for success, serve God because He gave up His son so that I would have eternal life with Him in heaven. We are second.
